Y6 - Ada Lovelace
In Year 6 you will be working with Mrs Hughes and Miss Ellison.
Our priority this year is to help our children to achieve their very best and to develop their own high aspirations for their future. We are dedicated to support and prepare pupils to work to the very best of their abilities and developing positive attitudes to all aspects of their lives. We encourage our pupils to always strive high in terms of expectations. Year 6 pupils are given extra responsibilities within school as they are able to take on the role of Prefect.
One of the highlights of Year 6 is our annual residential trip. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spend time with classmates in the great outdoors, developing independence whilst taking part in some breath-taking adventurous and team-building activities. It is an unforgettable class bonding opportunity and we are pleased that we can continue with this this year. In addition, we have several museum and park trips planned making use of the cultural opportunities available in our wonderful city.
P.E.
Tuesday & Thursday - P.E. with Everton in the Community coaches. Pupils should come into school in their PE kits on those days.
Homework and Reading Books
English and Maths homework will be uploaded onto our Google Classroom each Friday. This should be completed and uploaded (a photo or document) or completed online. A link to our classroom is at the top of this page. Home reading books will be sent home each Friday and should be returned each week (your child may decide to take their home reader for a further week if they wish but please return it each Friday anyway).
